Introduction
Natural lightning occurs every day and is potentially dangerous to any object in its path. A few examples of endangered objects are: aeroplanes, helicopters, buildings, antenna, electrical transmission & distribution networks, etc.
 Measurements have shown the following basic electrical data:
  • Cloud charging voltage range of some MV
  • Peak current up to 200 kA
  • Front time 1 ... 6 μs


Performance

The impulse current generator can generate standard impulse current waveform such as 4/10μs,8/20μs,30/80μs,1/20μs,10/350μs,etc.The technical properties fit the Chinese national standard(GB) and IEC standard. Its main technical properties lead in the state and reach the advanced level in the world.
